The online dosage calculator provides dosing information for GAMMAGARD S/D [Immune Globulin Intravenous (Human)] at 400 and 500 mg/kg for 5% solution and for 10% solution.

To use the calculator, just click the dropdown box to select the patient's weight in either pounds or kilograms. (Patient weight is expressed in kg. as full round numbers; in lbs, patient weight is displayed as kg equivalents. Select the nearest weight.)

After you select weight, the recommended dosing for both 400 and 500 mg/kg will appear in the left hand series of boxes. Infusion rate in ml/kg/hr will appear in the right hand series of boxes.

Doses and infusion rates for the 10% solution are displayed in the UPPER set of boxes.

Doses and infusion rates for the 5% solution are displayed in the LOWER set of boxes.

The online dosing calculator can also be used to facilitate calculation for other doses. For example, total dose and infusion rates for 250 mg/kg can be determined by dividing values of the 500 mg/kg dose in half.
